Ben Blaustein qualifies for the iRacing North America GR86 Cup

COMSCC member, Ben Blaustein has successfully qualified for the iRacing series GR Cup North America, racing the Toyota GR86. The series, operated by SRO Motorsports, aims to mirror the intensity of the real-life Toyota GR Cup Series. Ben is one of 40 drivers qualified for the race series, which will include 7 races through the summer. 

Races will be live streamed on the GT World Youtube Channel, and will take place on Saturdays at 2:30pm, full schedule below. Prize money of up to $300, with money winners down to 8th place is available for each race, with the season champion earning $2500, 2nd place $1500 and 3rd $1000. 

Ben began his driving career in 2019, as a sophomore college student, running iRacing. Upon graduation, he purchased his current Subaru BRZ, and attended his first track event with COMSCC in 2022 at Thompson. He was hooked immediately, and reports that COM’s instructors were very attentive and helpful. Ben has continued to run COMSCC events and is a regular attendee at the COMSCC iRacing league, where he often finishes on the podium.
