NHMS1 2018

Welcome to the 2018 Season!

COMSCC Members,

The 2018 season is upon us!  Last year was very busy for your board of directors, and we didn’t stop there. Our commitment continues to be to work to add value for the benefit and enjoyment of our members. Here are some of the highlights of what to expect this year:

We have a very strong schedule for 2018. In addition to our scheduled visits to NHMS, Thompson, Palmer, and a return to Watkins Glen, We are extremely excited to be returning to Le Circuit Mont Tremblant for the first time in many years. Relationships with our partners at these facilities continue to be strong.  Our Frequent Driver and First Timer Discount programs will continue unchanged. Check the website to familiarize yourself with those. Advanced Coaching for TT license holders will also continue. As always staffing these programs is a challenge, but we will endeavor to serve intended need in those areas.

Our revised rule set was published at the beginning of the calendar year. There are some significant changes intended to create parity amongst the classes. Please go to the website and familiarize yourselves with the new rule set. There is one additional document  there that explains the more significant changes.

You will notice some staffing changes this year. Some are faces you know and some faces are new. We will make the proper introductions as these individuals assume their roles.

Here is some HUGE NEWS! Our insurance provider, Lockton Affinity, has approved a change to their participant HPDE insurance program that also covers the laps of the Time Trial. (….yes…you read that correctly!) I am very excited about this development as it really helps to bolster our Time Trial Series, the center piece of what COM is about.

There is so much more going on, but that is it for now….I promised to keep these to one page.  J

See you at Thompson on the 28th,
