Hi John and Scott
Thanks for the ideas, That campground does look about the same distance as the rest area, but it does have electricity which is nice instead of killing my batteries or running my generator. I'll call them and see if they take one nighters.

Camping at LPR

I know we can't camp at the up coming LRP event, but does anyboby a good place to camp ? Last year I stayed over at a rest area on Rt. 7 in Sheffield, Mass. , but there must be some place closer.

Re: I have a chip too

Since I'm in SPA, these mods are already legal for me. But I don't see what the fuss is about. Last May I duct-taped a whole can of pringles to my engine and didn't see a difference in my lap times. Although there was a pleasant mesquite-bar-b-que scent to the engine compartment... :lol::o Tom ; I ...

ecu mods in st class

Somebody asked what the gain in a Mustang is when it is 'chipped' . I have a 1997 cobra which is 305 h.p. if you chip it it will gain only 15 h.p. which is the same horse power the 1999 and up model produce as stock. You can not get any high power gains like you can by controlling boost. When you in...

Maybe we will need old VW Bugs they were noted for being able to float \:D/ :oops: We could than mount an outboard on the bumper and do both the flooded part and the dry part. What class is an Old VW Bug with an outboard ?

Re: Brake upgrade

Hi Craig;
That is a legal up grade because those brakes came standard on the 2000 Mustang Cobra R and in ST1 you can change brakes as long as you stay with brakes from the same manufacturer as your car. I have them on my car and love them. Scott rode in my car last year and was so impressed he p...

Re: Route

Thanks Bruce;
The tolls to exit 41 from the Ma line are $15.90 each way. Don P. thinks Rt. 88 is better -- I know it is about 15 miles shorter.
Re: Watkins Glen starting point

Do we have electricity at Watkins Glen ? Also I'm still undecided which route to take , Rt. 90 to exit 41 or 42 (Ft. 14 or Rt414) or the hilly route (Rt.88-Rt81-Rt17). My trailer is very heavy (11,000#) I don't have one of those little 4 cylinder cars. Any sugestions on which route ?

Dan D'...
