Re: Sunday entrance into Watkins Glen

Officially, due to the presence of the vintage racing and camping crowd being cleared, there is no camping prior to our event. There will be no entry to the paddock on Sunday at all for COM members. Trailers will be allowed to be dropped off at Lot 3 as it was last year. Tom will put out the info bl...

Stephen Hosker

Today, we lost our friend, Stephen Hosker, after a long battle with an illness. Steve was a long time COM member and a fierce competitor. He was also a very positive influence in our paddock as a mentor to the new folks and set a great example to all of us of how to pursue the things in life that ma...

Re: sale on Nittos

Just checked in my size on the NT01. 235/40/17.

44 bucks cheaper per set on this site compared with DTD (who also offers free shipping).

Re: Newbie Question: How many HPDE classes do you need?

The quick answer is "it depends". The classroom sessions are required until the Chief Instructor issues a TT competition license based on the recommendation (or multiple recommendations) of the instructor/s who have been working with the individual. Everyone learns at a different pace. Some folks mi...

Re: Thompson: July 20-21, 2018 Event Info

Since we are not currently being fed by Chef Bob Brooks we would like pilot a new tradition - the COMSCC potluck BBQ. We want to start with a casual test of the idea before making it an official event feature ("soft launch"). This Friday evening at Thompson right after track activities, everybody is...

Re: Clockwise at Palmer

There are other considerations that need to be worked out, like how we can get 18 run groups to finish a COM TT on time. The CW config presents some interesting challenges that the CCW config addresses nicely.

Re: Laura Fleming

Laura is one of the most relentless and tenacious drivers I know. She has a competitive spirit that is contagious.....and she is seriously tough.

Bob, please let Laura know that her friends here at COM are thinking of her and stand ready to assist in any way if needed.

The main gate at 1281 Ch Du Village will be open for the big haulers to access all day Saturday and all day Sunday. No special arrangements need to be made. For those using the standard gate (Chemin Seguin), gate times still apply (Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-5pm, Sunday 5pm to 10pm, Mon 7am to 10pm, and T...
