YES, you may use Hoosier DOT radials in ANY class! Yes, they will stick just a *little* "better" :)

I was never clear on what "The Tire Guide" was either.

I hadn't even noticed we lost WGI this year, DAMNATION!

I'd just as soon NEVER have free dinners (spending $15, $20, whatever is next to nothing compared to other expenses) and lose money on WGI, making up for it elsewhere.

DOH!

IMO, it oughta go by displacement rather than cylinder count, with a 2.0 factor for turbos and a 1.67 factor for supercharging.

SPC up to 2.2
SPB up to 3.6
SPA unlimited

Or some such.

Too simple?!

I guess somebody figured it's "Porsche-ness" gives it some kind of inherent advantage, and so reasoned that it should be in a *theoretically* faster class. However, look at the '02 season, and it's clear that the 944 Turbo S that won SPA would have probably had a harder time of it in SPB! By the tim...

Rules show it in SSGT:

SHOWROOM STOCK GT (SSGT)

Nissan 300ZX V6 normally aspirated

That trumps the "Datsun/Nissan Z cars NOC" entry under SSA, as the 300ZX V6 na IS otherwise classified as SSGT.

This has GOT to be an oversight, though. '84-'89 300ZX na should definitely be in SSA.

You just want a car that's fun at the track, or do you want to build a competitive race car? The Z31 300ZX tends to be underrated, but it's a lot lighter-weight than the '90+ Z32 300ZX. I think it should make a GREAT street/track car. Matt is yer man for track setup for sure. Oh yeah, like Scott sai...

I haven't run a rear bar for a few years now. Getting rid of it made a pretty big difference in getting up the hill. I had gotten so used to going around corners at about a 7 degree slip angle, the car seemed really understeery with it removed, but I went quite a bit faster! You might try just remov...

You need a SMALLER rear anti-roll bar, hell you might even ditch it altogether. With your power and, er, UNFORTUNATE F/R weight distribution, the only way you're going to get drive up the hill is to make the front take the lion's share of roll reaction. Bigger front bar/smaller or no rear bar. What'...
