I don't what it is with those three cars, but one of them was consistently my idiot of the day winner.

Re: Federal Tires
You are comparing tires that are literally half the price to arguably the best tire out there...what did you expect?

Ryan McNutt... https://www.vnews.com/McNutt-issues-a-statement-a-day-after-city-council-fires-him-22537779 I emailed Anne Gobi, since I am a local resident and she is a friend of the family, but I wouldn't hold your breath. The town hates the track under normal circumstances...now add in a bunch of ...

Re: Dodge RAM 3500 Questions
Dodges usually their weak points are auto transmissions and front ball joints/steering...not sure if that carries over to vans as well. Should be no problem with that tow capacity. Double check the load capacity of the tires (they don't always replace them with the appropriately rated ones), and run...

Re: Last Minute Highway Rescue
Oh yeah trailer could handle it no problem, put a lot more air in the tires than the guy had in there  Only issue I found was that the trailer brakes were not working, but my truck has brand new upgraded brakes all around specifically made for towing, made it to my house no problem. Just went ...

Last Minute Highway Rescue
So I got a call last night at 730, apparently a friends truck and trailer were being transported from Texas and the clutch went at the toll booth in New York. Had a lot of less than stellar circumstances. 1) Clutch died completely on truck, it weighs 6000lbs 2) Trailer is loaded with tires, 1-ton fr...

Re: 2020 TT Season
Who doesn't like a spritz of brake cleaner in the morning? Great points Jason, and I like the lead follow idea as well. Maybe make the sessions shorter and therefore the groups smaller....match student and instructors up with similar cars :D Also another suggestion, maybe forget about the TT this ye...

Re: Federal Tires
I ran the FZ-201 Soft at a few events last year and for the money I am quite impressed. Grip level is greater than an R888R, but certainly not Hoosier level. I will have a better idea once I run Palmer again as I only ran the Federals at tracks that were new to me. Wear seems to be better than A7s, ...

Re: My PHD RX8 Build (Because it will take me 8 years)
Hmmm that sounds like a good idea. There is one on the other side of the firewall, but this shaft ended up much longer than I was originally thinking. Although to cause that shaft to move 24" to impale me, I would likely already be dead....I am going to move it to the ??? of my list.

Re: My PHD RX8 Build (Because it will take me 8 years)
Kind of changed my stage 1 goal of getting the motor running, to getting the car rolling first. I already know exactly what I want for brakes and suspension, so that at least some progress will be made. Plus from the engine and transmission stand point, any stepping stone of progress I make there is...
