Trailer Storage
Hi guys,
I’m looking to store a 24ft enclosed trailer between events. Ideally I could roll the car out and work on it some. Proximity to Westford Ma would be best

Thanks all. The truck is the tough decision. Diesel seems seemslike the way to go for better mpg while towing.

F150 3.5 Eco Boost. Is it enough...
Is it enough for pulling a 3000lb trailer and a 3000lb racecar and all the extras. It’s rated for 10,500lb but most folks have HD trucks I’ve noticed. Tx.

Re: Returning to COMSCC
Hi Seth
I’m running a Mk7 GTI. The MQB platform is very capable. I’m still a newbie though. I’ve done quite a few mods putting me into T-70. It’s a fun car to drive. I’d be happy to talk more if you want to give me a call (any evening)

Re: 2020 TT Season
At my hospital (Beth Israel Deaconess) we have seen the peak last week. Our total covid numbers are declining though we will be taking care of patients for a while still. We have not and will not be overwhelmed with patients. We are very active planning to reopen for elective surgery. Emergency room...

Re: Roll cage
Got my GTI back from Chris Howard with a custom welded in roll bar. Very satisfied with the result. A very good price as well. Thanks for the lead Graham!

Re: Harness // rollbar options
I’m in a similar situation. For now I need to drive my car on the street. Chris Howard in Holliston MA is going to build a 4 pt welded in roll bar for my GTI. He said he can continue it in the future by adding to it when I’m ready. Very good price as well.

Roll cage
Hi all,
I’m looking to put a rollbar/roll cage along with racing seats and harness in my VW GTI for next season. Any advice would be appreciated and a recommendation for someone who does roll cages in the Boston area.

Re: Suspension advice
Hi Dan,
What do you mean by destroying brakes? I ask because I've been going through pads pretty fast. I went through a practically new set of front pads on the first day at WGI. I'm switching to Carbotech. I hope it makes a difference.

Re: Suspension advice
The Mk7 GTI Performance Pack (US name) and the Clubsport have VW VAQ diff, which is essentially an electronically controlled clutch-type LSD. Very similar to the e-diff in a Ferrari, among others.

Suspension advice
Hi folks, I’m considering MCS suspension for my GTI. Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated. It’s still a dual purpose car though not a daily driver. MCS suggests setting the car up at the beginning of the season with a bias toward the track then setting it up for the street after t...
