There's no reason you can't run a stock GTI. The major weakness is the ones without PP because the e-diff cooks the brakes. You have the LSD with the PP so you're solid.

I don't think i've ever heard of a specific turn more notorious for eating cars and it's been this way for years. What could the track could do to clean that area up and make it safer? How can the track be pressured to do so?

I have two buddies with RX8s that have gone through four motors between them. I'd budget in that LS1 swap from the start.

After i sold the E36 i considered an RX8 project for a bit. It's a fantastic chassis.

Most cars seem pretty overpriced on there. If it's anything remotely common, i'm sure you could find a better deal elsewhere.
