That's going to be difficult to answer. Do you have photos?
I'm familiar with the floor mounts you mention, I believe. But, I'm not sure how the harnesses would fasten to them.

Don't buy a diesel for fuel saving, unless you do a huge amount of miles. You'll never make back the premium. It's pretty much $10k premium, used or new. They will 'run forever' in a perfect world, but it's never a perfect world. They don't like to sit, they like to be run full time. Buy a diesel fo...

Re: Route to VIR
Wow. Thanks for all the great responses. It's going to be a difficult choice.
FWIW - I'll be towing a 24ft enclosed trailer with a 3/4 ton pickup. So, nothing too crazy.

Route to VIR
I'll be towing to VIR for WRL next week, for the first time. Anyone have any route tips? We'll be leaving on a Wednesday, early morning.

I'll take them, if you can get them off the wheels.

Re: Thompson Turn 6
I feel like it's a lack of knowledge. People don't tend to think of the inside wall being dangerous. All they see is the ton of runoff room on the outside. So, they go a little too nuts. I don't think the turn is dangerous. I don't think it's the track's responsibility to do anything. The COM schedu...

Re: Club data log share?
In my opinion, we should keep it as simple as possible, at least to start.
What if the Admin backed up the Google Drive to their own machine every so often, so that if someone came and deleted files, they could easily be restored?

Re: Club data log share?
I like the idea.
We could have a folder for each data type (Aim, etc), and people could share within whichever platform they are using.

Re: Next year's schedule
This may not be a popular opinion among instructors, but I also feel instructors get too good a deal at away tracks. But, I don't think that's why so many instructors show up. I think they show up because they are dedicated to the club and to the sport. I also feel that many of the other participant...

Re: Next year's schedule
Bruce, while I agree with the basic premise of what you are saying, I think you may be exaggerating a bit. I think one unusual track a year isn't too much to ask. I personally feel that the away track (not including WGI) should be changed yearly. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but we don't alw...

If you have traveling companions, bring them to the track Sunday evening, when people are unloading. They'll find out if it's worth coming back when the track is hot.
