Re: Palmer Motorsports Open Track May 29th

I'd say the chances are very good that I'll be there.

Re: 2020 TT Season

The BoD will have a discussion and subsequent vote on the topic of a replacement Palmer event this week. Graham, at present, there is no particular cut-off date I am looking at for Thompson. My gut feeling is that this event will happen, as long as things improve and state and local guidelines allow...

I deleted the other thread on this same topic. I set up my delete button so that works both clockwise and counter-clockwise.

Re: 2020 TT Season

Thanks for the ongoing discussion. Please keep it going. My .02.....I'm not going to mince words. The elected officers and directors of COM have their names on the door of this outfit. It is our obligation to see that we adhere to the guidelines and all the rules, but as this is a leisure activity, ...

Re: Club data log share?

The club has google drive space that we use for file storage of documents that are operational in nature, and also is where our archive currently sits. We have space available to host a thing like this and make it available to the members. I don't think the data files from Aim take up very much spac...

Re: Next year's schedule

All, Many thanks to those that have taken the time to post up their thoughts on the matter. The opinions vary, as they should. COM has quite a varied group of individuals. I could write pages of text touching on the points made in this thread, but I think that in general, the member base knows where...

Re: Anyone know when can we enter WGI to drop cars?

Dan, As was with the last couple of years, the policy is the same. "Offically", there is no camping on the Sunday night in the over flow lot. I have heard that folks that have gone to the vintage racing prior to that have stayed inside the paddock, but I have not been read in to how that works. All ...

Re: Anyone know when can we enter WGI to drop cars?

Yes. There is no change to the policy of the last few years. We will not be allowed access to the infield of the track at all until the gate opens on the Monday. Tom's event blurb will cover the details.

Re: Racing in the heat

Another thing you can try is to limit your exposure a bit. Go out and rehearse the TT, then take a cool down lap, and a slow run through the hot pit, then back out and do it again.....rinse, repeat.

Re: Tremblant Questions

I have found the cell service to be a little spotty, but serviceable. I use LCMT as a way to unplug so I can't really speak to anything other than the occasional call. Really, the only place to view the track is from the paddock and the observation deck of the tower. The view is okay up there, but y...
