Summit Point Raceway
is a challenging 10-turn, two mile asphalt road racing circuit
set in the pastoral Shenandoah Valley, located 70 miles from the
Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD metropolitan areas.
The course combines slow and fast bends, with a 3,000 ft straightaway and considerable vertical relief.
Motor sports events occur every weekend from March through November, with various BSR schools occupying weekdays.

Track Configurations
There are four separate circuits at Summit Point:
- Summit Point Raceway (2 miles)
- Shenandoah
- The Jefferson Circuit (1.1 miles)
- Active Systems Loop
COMSCC uses the Summit Point Raceway and Shenandoah circuits.
Directions
Summit Point Raceway is located 70 miles west of downtown Washington, DC, and 40 minutes drive from Dulles International Airport. Its 20 minutes from Winchester, VA and Charles Town, WV where there are numerous national-chain and independent motels.
- Take Interstate 81 south to Inwood, WV exit.
- Take Route 51 east to town of Middleway.
- Take right on the Leetown Road (look for 3M sign) and drive 5 miles to the stop sign.
- Take a right onto Summit Point Road (Route 13) and drive 1 mile.
- Summit Point Raceway will be on your left.
